CCPTK-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed) certification is issued to dog training professionals who have taken and passed CCPDT's examination. The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers believes the public has the right to work with dog training professionals who are not only knowledgeable, but whose knowledge is based on current, sound scientific principles, humane methods and continuing education. Certification pending; testing in March 2017.

Mentor to dog training students through the Animal Behavior College's externship program. Students accompany me on training sessions for both observation and hands-on experience in order to meet their graduation requirements. Current extern is Rusty Barnes, and we're sure you'll like him as much as we do!

First Aid essentials including CPR, preventative care, first aid for injuries and illnesses. Training and certification through the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).
